You may receive an apparently harmless e-mail titled ” Here you have ” If you open either file, a message will appear on your screen saying: ‘ It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful… Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC, and the person who sent it to you will gain access to your Name, e-mail and password.

This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the anti virus software ‘ s are not capable of destroying it. The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself ‘ life owner ‘ .

Good Works is a Christian nonprofit organization which exists to improve the living conditions for low-income families in Chester County, PA. We transform substandard houses into warmer, safer, and drier homes; and despair into hope. Our services are offered to homeowners at no cost and volunteers do most of the repairs.

If you didn’t volunteer to upgrade to the new facebook profile back about a month ago, you will now not have the option of sticking with the old. Keep in mind, there ARE some changes with this new profile, like FACEBOOK cutting off newsfeeds at EXACTLY 420 characters without notficiation, so you won’t notice (unless of course, you are counting your characters as you type) until you’ve posted. Facebook is always changing and I LOVE change!

I’m so excited that I’ve been able to reach a point with my business that I can really start making a difference in my community!

When I first decided to become a self-employed, I knew I wanted to do two things:

1. Be happy doing what I love doing and get paid for it  2. Get involved with my community

Last year I did a small donation drive with one business in West Chester, PA.  This year with my networking organization, On Tap Network, we were able to get many businesses in West Chester involved with our Holiday Donation Drive that will support the Chester County Food Bank.   We also dedicated our last business networking event on Dec. 1st to one local family.  We raised almost $500 total in gift cards and prizes and TODAY we will be delivering everything to the family!

On Tap Network is also sponsoring a great event that Chester County Moms is hosting tonight for Toys for Tots, called the Holiday Extravaganza.   By the sound of things, it’s looking like they will be raising 1500 toys for this great organization and we are glad to be able to be a part of it!

Now, off to take care of my own family this holiday season by taking some time off starting next week!

The time between Thanksgiving and New Year couldn’t be a more perfect time to take a step back and evaluate your business.  It’s the only time we have to breath from our busy and hectic schedules!  Take advantage of this downtime to really think business matters through to see where changes can be made.

Notice a change to the NEW Facebook Groups?   Well, there are lots of changes.  I don’t believe this will be the new facebook “page” , but there are definitely some great benefits to the facebook groups that the facebook pages DO NOT have.  FB groups would be great for social organizations, moms groups, large families or used to plan high school reunions, etc.   The MAIN purpose of Facebook Groups is a more simple way of communicating around a particular topic or community.  I still think products and brands need to stick with facebook pages!

Some key changes that I personally love about Facebook Groups is the Group Chat and Group Docs!
