Angela Myrtetus

Biography

Angela Myrtetus was raised north of Pittsburgh in a very small community in Clarion County, PA.  She graduated in 1999 with a degree in Executive Office Procedures from DuBois Business College.

She has over 12 years experience in administration and marketing in various industries including radio and finance. Most of her career in the financial industry was spent in Philadelphia where she lived in Olde City for over 4 years.

She dove into social media in 2004 and started using it for business in early 2005.  She combined her years of experience in traditional marketing and administration with the world of social media marketing and founded Independent Projects in 2008 and LLC’d in 2009.

Her partner, Leigh Maro from Maro Design, is a fabulous web designer and SEO pro!   They both co-founded On Tap Network in 2009 with another Chester County, PA business owner, Jeff Stein.  This has been a VERY successful networking organization with quarterly networking events attended by hundreds of business owners from all around Chester County, PA and membership opportunities for every type of business owner.  On Tap Network continues to grow and provide fantastic benefits to people who join their organization.  Check out their facebook page for information on their events and tips on networking!!

Angela resides in West Chester, PA.  She has three young children and is married to Philadelphia radio personality, Jason Myrtetus.  She also manages and markets his voiceover business, JMVoiceOver.

She says, “Life, family and business are complicated things to manage on their own.  Combining them has taught me respect for my time, respect for and the power of the word no, and a TRUE admiration for my husband whose support has allowed me to be a great mom and a great business owner.  I wouldn’t be sane without both a career and family in my life.  One without the other would be an unrecognizable life for me.”
