WEST CHESTER, PA: Angela Myrtetus doesn’t consider herself a “supermom”, but often feels like a multi-tasking pro who may be able to teach a few CEOs this trait.
She’s a mom to two preschoolers and manages three businesses. She’s the Founder of Independent Projects, Co-Founder of On Tap Network and manages her husband’s voiceover business.
Independent Projects is a brand marketing and business management consulting and outsourcing company. On Tap Network is a great networking organization that Angela co-founded with two other Chester County, PA business owners. This organization was founded early 2009 and continues to grow. They host quarterly networking events in and around West Chester, PA in which hundreds of business owners have attended. They also provide great benefits to people who become members of On Tap. Angela plans the majority of the events. She negotiates with the vendors, writes the marketing material and gets the word out for each event.
JMVoiceOver is her husband, Jason Myrtetus’ business. Marketing a voiceover business is challenging as there is so much competition, but she has landed him big vo gigs locally and nationally. She also wrote the content for his website and manages his facebook page.
She says, “Managing these three fantastic businesses, keeping clients happy and satisfying the needs of my family is challenging. I take one day at a time and hit the gym almost every day to keep my energy up. I run my wonderful children back and forth to preschool every day and try to make healthy and organic meals as much as possible. I do all of this because each one of these tasks is important to me. I don’t do it because I have to, I do it because I want to. Staying positive, upbeat and happy is work, treat that way and you can succeed. When you do things out of love and not “have to’s,” life becomes much more easy to manage. Staying active in your community and giving back is also a huge help to positively managing every aspect of your life. It keeps you going. There are days when I would love to curl up with a good book or watch some bad daytime television and sometimes I do just that.”
